Hello! I am Betty, I am born in Athens, studied in the American College of Greece Marketing Management and Arts Plastiques in The University of Paris Sorbonne I (studies on hold - don’t know yet what I will do with that).

My living is an act of kind and mindful observation so as to create my space, for myself and also for others.

About my creative process

​

Ι have been influenced by the two-dimensional and illustrative mood of Matisse, and I pool my subject often from photographs. I am interested in the performance of the textures and the materiality of the medium.

I work mainly with mixed techniques, watercolors, acrylics, gouache, but I also use pencil and oil. I love to deal with the aesthetics of the girlish intelligence, the self-enjoyment of the female body, its kindness and discretion. Personal space and introversion have a special place in my work and the characteristics of my protagonists appear almost intuitively, as I identify more with the sensuality of an idea and the ambience rather than with its conceptual structure.
