I am Betty I live in Athens and work on painting, drawings, illustrations and writing.

I am interested in the performance of the textures and the materiality of the medium. I work mainly with mixed techniques, and I often pull my subjects from photographs.

Introversion has a special place in my work and the characteristics of my protagonists appear almost intuitively, as I identify more with the sensuality of an idea, the ambience and the textures rather than with its conceptual structure.
