I am Betty, an artist based in Athens, working in painting and drawing.

I studied Fine Arts (Arts Plastiques) at the Paris-Sorbonne University, later choosing to pursue my practice outside an academic framework.

​

My work explores the expressive power of texture and the materiality of the medium. I work primarily with mixed techniques, often drawing my subjects from photographs.

Introversion is central to my practice. The features of my protagonists emerge intuitively, shaped less by conceptual structure than by the sensuality of an idea, its atmosphere, and its tactile qualities.
